Dr Benjamin Hewitt
Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon
MBBS (UWA) FRACS (Ortho)
Dr Hewitt completed his medical training at the University of Western Australia, and is a Fellowship trained Knee and Shoulder surgeon. Dr Hewitt specializes in reconstructive and replacement surgery of the knee and shoulder, and performs more than 1,000 operations per year.
Joining OSHGroup’s specialist team to provide medico-legal services, Dr Hewitt is a WorkCover WA Approved Medical Specialist (AMS).
He is the current Chairman of the Hollywood Hospital Orthopaedic Craft Group, and a Member of the Medical Advisory and Credentialing Committee of Hollywood Private Hospital.
Combining his love of sport and medicine, Dr Hewitt is the Consultant Surgeon to the Fremantle Dockers Football Club, Perth Wildcats Basketball and West Coast Fever Netball teams.
