OSHGroup is pleased to welcome Consultant Anaesthetist Dr Reena Hacking to our team of specialists in 2023. Dr Hacking brings with her a wealth of experience in the fields of Anaesthetics and Pain management.

Dr Hacking is dual trained and accredited in Anaesthesia both in the United Kingdom and Australia. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetist UK (RCOA) and the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthesia (ANZCA). 

Dr Hacking has undertaken broad medical and anaesthesia training. In addition she has undertaken a Subspecialty Clinical Fellowship in Neuro-Anaesthesia at The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queens Square, London and a Research Fellowship in Anaesthesia at Royal Perth Hospital, WA.

In addition to her work at OSHGroup, Dr Hacking is the Head of Department of Anaesthesia and a member of the Medical Advisory Committee at St John of God Subiaco Eye Hospital. She is Clinical lead for Anaesthesia for Ophthalmology at Fremantle Hospital and works as a Specialist Anaesthetist at both Fiona Stanley & Fremantle Hospitals as well within the private sector. Her work involves most surgical subspecialties as well as being part of the Acute Pain Service (APS) at Fiona Stanley & Fremantle Hospital Group where she manages complex acute pain for in-patients.

Dr Hacking will be providing medicolegal consulting services including but not limited to independent medical examinations (IMEs) and specialist second opinions.
