DR Yue Chong (Olivia) Lee

Dr Olivia Lee graduated from the University of Auckland, New Zealand, in 2001 and started training in psychiatry in 2002. She has clinical experience in both the public and private health sectors.
Dr Lee was recognised as the best psychiatric registrar in 2003 and spent her first years as a psychiatric trainee working in old age psychiatry in community care. During this time she dealt largely with mental health, rehabilitation and substance misuse. It is from this work that she developed special interests in Alcohol Substance Abuse, as well as Pain Disorders. Her further studies, including the completion of her Post Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, provide evidence based therapies for such illnesses.
Dr Lee now dedicates her time working as a Consultant Psychiatrist within the Inner City Community Older People’s Mental Health team and has been involved in this team since 2009.
Dr Lee also consults privately through the Marian Centre, and has performed many varied and complex assessments. Dr Lee has provided assessments for the Department of Veteran’s Affairs, Department for Education and Child Development, and the Australian Taxation Office.
