Psychiatrist

OSHGroup is pleased to welcome Consultant Psychiatrist Dr Matthew Seaburne-May to our team of specialists in 2025. He brings extensive experience in psychiatry and forensic psychiatry, having worked across the UK and Australia in both public and private settings.

Dr Seaburne-May trained at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, qualifying as a Psychiatrist in the UK. After many years in the National Health Service (NHS), he relocated to Western Australia, where he has worked in general adult and forensic psychiatry across various public hospitals and clinics. He also holds a Diploma in Forensic Mental Health from St George’s Medical School, London.

Dr Seaburne-May has extensive experience in medicolegal assessments and has provided expert reports in the UK and Australia on matters including medical negligence, professional conduct, personal injury, DVA matters, and criminal cases.

Dr Seaburne-May will be consulting at OSHGroup’s West Perth office on a monthly basis, offering independent medical examinations (IMEs) and specialist second opinions.
