What is the difference between using a registrar or a physician?
As an approved training organisation, OSHGroup is proud to offer both Occupational Physician (OP) and Occupational Physician Registrar (OPR) appointments.

OP reports are generally issued within 10 business days following the consultation
Occupational Physicians (OP)
OPR reports are generally issued within 5 business days following the consultation
All work completed by our OPRs is oversighted by one of our specialists
Use of an OPR (when appropriate to the case) is a cost-effective alternative for managing your employees

We understand that not every case is straightforward, and that there are lots of different options available. If you are unsure of what you require, please contact our team who can discuss your needs with you and help you select the best option to suit your case from a clinical and commercial perspective.
Why is the booking showing as Medico-legal when it is a Fitness for Work appointment?
Bookings made with our team of specialist practitioners (Occupational Physicians, Psychiatrists etc) are classified in our booking system as ‘Medico-legal’ for administrative and reporting purposes.
How much will the service I need cost?
Please contact OSHGroup to request a price list or quotation for the service that you require.

Do you have a template for the referral letter?
Yes – our team can provide this to you at the time of booking your appointment.
I have a lot of paperwork, how can I send it to you?
How can I send the paperwork through securely?
You can send the paperwork through electronically (via email). If you have a large amount of paperwork you can also courier the files to us.
Where possible, please provide the paperwork as a single PDF document.
Please ensure that you allow sufficient time for the documentation to reach us prior to the scheduled appointment.
When do I have to get the paperwork to you?
Paperwork must be received by OSHGroup at least 3 business days prior to the scheduled appointment time/date.
Please note that failure to provide the required paperwork (including referral letters and supporting documentation) may result in the cancellation of the scheduled appointment, and Late Cancellation/Failure to Attend fees will apply.

Please refer to the ‘Our Team’ page of the website for information on the types of practitioners available, and individual profile information (including areas of interest) to help you make your selection.
Our team can also assist – do not hesitate to contact us to discuss your needs.
Do the doctors do home visits?
No, our doctors consult at OSHGroup rooms or on client sites, and are unable to complete home visits.
Can I send a child to see a doctor?
No, our doctors do not treat children.
