CURRENT INFORMATION
Global number of cases reported – 8.92 Million with 467,000 deaths.
Recovery rates remain high, with 4.4 M cases classed as recovered.
UPDATED - (22/6) Increasing new case rates reported for South Africa, India, Russia and Brazil.
UPDATED - (22/6) Revised DoH National Guidelines published 12/6/2020 for COVID-19 (LINK).
NEW - (22/6) Australian Employment Figures released from the ABS. 3 New charts added below, including WA Unemployment trends.
NEW - (22/6) COVID-19 testing requirements for international travel are complex. Permission may be needed to undertake COVID-19 PCR testing as part of visa requirements.
NEW - (22/6) Mental Health of Australians during April 2020. New data released from the Medical Journal of Australia showed that mental health problems were at least twice as prevalent as in non-pandemic circumstances (LINK). These results are consistent with another recent sample study from India. Their results showed 1/3 of respondents have expereienced a significant psychological impact from the COVID-19 pandemic (LINK).
